Timberline has fully reopened!
Timberline opened again on January 27th, 2021 after our Covid closure, and we have been expanding our offerings slowly ever since. Our current protocol is that no masks are required for those who are fully vaccinated against the Covid 19 pandemic, which has been a welcome change for our participants and our caregivers.
A new addition to our program this year is our Friday night respite care from 4-8 PM. This provides our caregivers a break one evening a month and has been a very welcome addition to our program where dinner is provided to the participants and we have a fun evening together. Check our calendar for the next date of the Friday night respite.
Our participants are really enjoying flower and vegetable gardening on our outdoor deck and they have embraced this additional touch of nature. We have resumed our popular community outings such as scenic drives around the county, bowling in Dillon, pontoon boating on Lake Dillon, road biking on the recreation paths, nature walks to the animal shelter, and visiting local businesses and community parks, and our community recreation centers. We have gone to the Next Page bookstore to explore all the great book choices there, and to Footes’ Rest on Frisco Main Street for ice cream. We also visit the Silverthorne recreation center for a swim in the pool, and the Summit County Library for reading and selecting books.
If we can support your loved one, call or drop in to visit us, we’d love to welcome you to the Timberline family!
Vaccinations and protocols have helped us get back to what we love!
